Before the kickoff of Tampa Bay Buccaneer and the Dallas Cowboys season-opening game, singer Alicia Keyes began the event with the song “Lift Every Voice and Sing,’’ which in years past has been referred to as the ‘black national anthem.’’ Keyes was accompanied during her performance by the concert choir of Florida A&M, a historically black university.
